Fishing ponds special management

For recreational fishing ponds, daily feeding and management are different from ordinary fish ponds, especially during fishing. 1. Increase the stocking species The fish in the fishing pond should be diversified in terms of variety and specifications. It is necessary to consider whether it is easy to hook up and consider fully utilizing the water surface. Generally, fish should be stocked in the upper, middle, and lower layers of a body of water. Specifications should be large, large, medium, and small. Varieties include common fish such as cockroach, clam, green, grass, cockroach and cockroach, and some carnivorous fish such as stingrays, mackerel and blackfish can also be stocked. Although they are not easy to hook, squid and squid can play a role in using the upper body of water to purify the water; meat-eating fish and extra large-sized fish can eliminate low-quality small wild fish that compete for food and fight oxygen in the water, and can also improve anglers' interest. 2. Rational feeding of bait for fishing ponds There is often a contradiction between the angler and the breeder on the issue of feeding. In fact, feeding the feed normally and reasonably can not only ensure that the fish body does not lose weight, but also increase its weight, benefiting both anglers and breeders. Fish ponds often visited by fishermen are generally fed with nutritious foods in combination with the bait. The daily feeding amount is appropriately reduced compared to ordinary fish ponds (accounting for 3% to 5% of the fish's body weight). 4 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon is good, after the fish eat 80% of the full after a night of digestion, the next morning will be in a state of hunger, will not affect the hook. 3. Strengthening feeding and management Fishing ponds in vertical fishing ponds generally have higher breeding densities, and the water in high-temperature hot and humid weather is prone to lack of oxygen and “floating head” phenomenon, thus affecting the catch rate. Therefore, attention should be paid to the daily feeding and management especially during fishing. Some aquatic plants such as water peanuts and water spinach can be transplanted in fish ponds, photosynthetic bacteria can be used, or new water can be added at night to improve water quality; conditional aerators should be equipped, and noon starts every day (avoiding fishing time) Increase oxygen for 2 to 3 hours. During fishing, we must also pay attention to the cleanliness of ponds and the disinfection of pool water. We must adhere to the early, middle, and evening patrols and find that abnormal conditions are properly handled at any time. The wastes discarded by anglers and the fish corpses that were killed by hooking should be promptly removed to avoid polluting the pool water. At the same time, it is necessary to grasp the density of fish in ponds and to supplement fish shortages in time. When putting adult fish, the amount of fish loaded should be controlled within 500 kg per mu (1 mu = 667 square meters). 4. Pay attention to the prevention and treatment of fish diseases. Some of the fish in the fishing ponds are injured due to decoupling and their ability to eat and fight disease is weakened. Frequent supplementation of purchased fish is also easy to bring into the pathogens. Therefore, the prevention and treatment of fish diseases is more important. Fish disease is found during fishing. Green fish medicines (such as biological agents, Chinese herbs, salt, garlic, etc.) should be used for prevention and treatment. Do not use fish poisons with strong toxicity, long potency, and large residual amounts to avoid poisoning. Adult fish moved in from the adjacent pond should be handled with caution during fishing, sorting and transportation to avoid injury to the fish. Out-of-stock fish must be subject to strict quarantine to avoid illness into the pond. In addition, when there is a serious disease in the fishing pond, it is necessary to thoroughly clear the pond, drain the pool water, remove the silt, and keep the pond for a few days. Disinfect it with quicklime and other drugs until the drug toxicity disappears. For fish ponds that have been specially used for fishing, even if serious diseases do not occur in the current year, thorough clearing ponds should be disinfected once in winter.
