Adult meat donkey fattening method
During the recovery phase, new adult meat donkeys purchased from outside China are fed with some easily digestible hay and wheat bran. When feeding, add less ground and feed 70% full. After a few days of observation, after confirming that the donkey is eating normally, it can enter the feeding period. The feed for this period should be matched with the thickness. The roughage is mainly cottonseed, with 50% cottonseed cake, 30% cornmeal, and 20% bran. If meat donkeys do not like or do not eat cottonseed and cotton kernel cakes at all, they should be fed. A small amount of cotton kernel cake and cottonseed skin were added to the feed and gradually increased. After about one week, a sufficient amount of cotton kernel cake and cottonseed skin were fed. After 2 months, it is advisable to let the donkeys eat 80% full, feed 2 times a day, feed 1 time each morning at 8am and 5pm, drink 2 times a day, 1 at noon and 18:00 at night. This kind of meat donkey can reach the slaughter standard as soon as possible.
