Of the 21 species of vegetables monitored, 13 prices rose, 4 prices fell, and 4 prices remained flat. Prices of pigs' hip and tipped pork and pork belly all dropped by 0.1%. Prices of beef and mutton were both flat, and boneless fresh lamb was preserved. The price of fresh mutton with bones dropped by no more than 0.1%; the prices of ordinary fresh eggs and white broilers rose by 0.2% and 0.1% respectively.

Monitoring data show that since late February, the national vegetable prices have risen as a whole. Compared with February 20, on March 15th, the national average price of 21 kinds of monitoring vegetables rose by nearly 7%. According to the sub-species, nearly 80% of the monitored vegetable prices have increased. Among them, the prices of Chinese cabbage, scallion, and celery rose particularly, with increases of 22.0%, 20.6%, and 16.3% respectively.

According to monitoring data, at present, the price of super-three-percent monitoring varieties such as Chinese cabbage, celery, tomatoes, white radish, potatoes, cabbage, welsh onions has reached or exceeded the price level during the Spring Festival.
