Fourth, due to long-distance transportation or indoor handling, the position of the light source may be shifted, resulting in an increase in bright current drift. At this point, adjust the position of the light source until the relevant technical indicators are reached. If the three key indicators of wavelength accuracy, dark power drift and bright current drift after adjustment and correction still do not meet the requirements, they should be discontinued and timely notified to the relevant technical personnel for maintenance. The operator should not easily touch the light bulb and the mirror light to avoid affecting the light efficiency. After the amplifier sensitivity shifts, it must be re-zeroed.

Fifth, the cuvette holder and cuvette are in place in use. Pay attention to its directionality when using it, and it should be used together to extend its service life. First, make sure the cuvette is not tilted. Because of the slight inclination, the reference sample and the sample to be tested have inaccurate absorption path lengths, and it is also possible that the incident light cannot pass through the sample cell completely, resulting in the test accuracy not meeting the requirements. Second, it should be ensured that the cuvette holder is pushed and pulled into place during each test. If it is not in place, it will affect the repeatability or accuracy of the test value.

Sixth, the new cuvettes must be paired before use, and their relative thicknesses should be determined. The deviation should not exceed 2% transmittance, otherwise the measurement results will be affected. Immediately after use, rinse with distilled water (after measuring the colored solution, first soak it with the corresponding solvent or (1+3) xiaosuan, soaking time should not be too long, then rinse with distilled water), and use clean and soft The gauze wipes the water trace to prevent the surface finish from being damaged and affecting the light transmittance of the cuvette.

Seventh, the use of desiccant. Desiccant failure will cause the following problems: 1 Digital instability, unable to zero or fullness. 2 The mirror is moldy or stained, which affects light efficiency and increases stray light. Therefore, the spectrophotometer should be placed away from the humidity and other places, and the desiccant should be replaced or baked regularly.

Eighth, the position of the spectrophotometer should meet the following conditions: a few bags of silica gel (or other desiccant) should be placed in the lamp room to avoid direct sunlight; avoid strong electric field; to avoid the mirror being dampened or contaminated, avoiding and comparing High-power electrical equipment is common; avoid corrosive gases, affect the use of the instrument, and cover the dust cover at the same time.

Ninth, each time the instrument is used for a long time, it should be energized and preheated once a week for 30 minutes to ensure that the instrument is in good condition. The instrument room must not store acid, alkali, volatile or corrosive substances to avoid damage to the instrument.
