How to survive safely in muddy winter

Loach is quite sensitive to changes in water temperature. When the water temperature drops below 5°C, the muddy mud will climb into the mud for winter and the wintering period lasts for 2 to 5 months. In order for the muddy to survive the wintering period, the following work must be done:

First, apply organic fertilizer

Before entering the overwintering pool, muddy loquats will spread appropriate amount of organic fertilizer into the bottom of the pond to thicken the silt layer and provide an ideal “hotbed” for the loach overwintering.

Second, choose a good species

Pick a sturdy, disease-free loach as a seed pod. The stocking density of wintering loach can be slightly higher than the density during the rearing period.

Third, pay attention to insulation

During the wintering period, cold insulation work should be done to keep the water temperature between 2 and 10°C. In the paddy field's loach, the loach should be concentrated in the fish slip before wintering, and the straw can be laid in the fish slip, and the loach can infiltrate the silt in the bottom of the fish to overwinter.
