Treat rice bran with hydrochloric acid to increase stability

Rice bran is easily decomposed into free fatty acid due to lipase activity, so that rice bran deteriorates and is difficult to store. Recently, Indian scientists have invented a chemical treatment method to uniformly spray hydrochloric acid on rice bran to lower the pH value to 4.0 or less, which can inhibit lipase activity. The acid-treated rice bran can reduce pests during storage and can still be used as feed for laying hens and other animals, and can be stored in sacks at room temperature. Rice bran contains 10% to 26% oil. It can be extracted from healthy rice oil, rice bran oil, and acid-treated rice bran. It also helps to extract oil from rice bran, which is of great value for comprehensive utilization of rice bran.
