1. Early buds. (1) Causes: (1) Sustained low temperatures after planting resulted in a reduction in dry matter production and the growth was inhibited, inducing early flower bud differentiation. 2 Insufficient nitrogen fertilizer at seedling stage, soil was dry, and rooting was caused by cultivating after planting, resulting in insufficient nutrition and impeded growth, resulting in aging of seedlings and budding early. 3 When the varieties were not properly selected, they were mistakenly used as varieties for spring cultivation. (2) Solutions: 1 After the planting, encounter cold weather, timely increase insulation measures such as sheds, grasshoppers. 2 Select a soil that is rich in fertility and convenient drainage. Cauliflower grows strong and requires large amounts of fertilizer. It is necessary to combine the site preparation with sufficient decomposed organic fertilizer and superphosphate as base fertilizer. (1) Reasons: 1 Flower buds encounter high temperature or drought during the expansion period. 2 Insufficient basal and topdressing results in plants returning from reproductive growth to vegetative growth. (2) Solution: (1) When the weather is abnormal, take timely measures such as cooling. When the bud diameter reaches 3 to 4 cm, the outer leaves are picked and the flower bulbs are covered. 2 When the diameter of the flower ball reaches 2 to 3 cm, timely top dressing and watering.
