Prevention and treatment of deciduous diseases in kiwifruit

Kiwifruit suffers from defoliation when it is in flowering. To this end, Liu Zhande, chief expert of the Kiwifruit pilot demonstration station of the Northwest A&F University, has provided guidance for farmers.

cause

1. Kiwifruit prefers a warm and humid climate, its leaves are large and thin, hi light but afraid of direct light, high temperatures and strong light above 35 °C will cause burns to the leaves, so the high temperatures associated with summer drought will cause leaf burns and lead to fallen leaves, The earlier the hot season comes, the sooner leaves will occur.

2. The irrationality of fruit growers in fruit thinning causes the tree to overload, weaken its resistance and cause fallen leaves.

3, pruning is not reasonable. The excessive amount of winter cuts and branching leads to the confinement of orchards, poor ventilation and light transmission, insufficient nutrient supply, and defoliation.

4. Kiwi brown spots and black spot are two kinds of leaf diseases that are most susceptible to growth in kiwifruit. Dirt infestation began in mid-April and black follicle-like black spots and brown lesions formed on the front of the affected leaves, black moldy spots on the backs of the leaves in the wet conditions, and irregular brownish necrotic spots on the leaves in the late stage.

Control methods

1. Planting green manure in an orchard can reduce ground temperature, increase air humidity, improve the orchard's microclimate, and reduce leaf loss caused by leaf burns. Strictly sparse fruiting and fruiting, reasonable fruit retention, avoiding excessive fruit loss leading to tree nutrient deficit. During the growing season, invalid branches and leaves were cut off in time to make the orchard airy and light-transmitting, and the branch buds grew robustly.

2. Strengthen orchard soil water management, cultivate strong tree vigor, and increase tree disease resistance. The pathogens of brown spot and black spot disease are generally overwintering on the diseased body. Therefore, the fallen leaves are cleared in winter and the liquid is cleared with a liquid to reduce the pathogenic potential.

In the middle and late April, the initial infection period of the bacteria began to control the drug. The fungal disease pesticides should be used. The spray should be carefully and evenly used. Note that the use of pesticides should be alternated to prevent the generation of drug resistance.
