Just like using a fine sieve to drain sand, whether the sand passes through the fine sieve depends on the size of the pore size of the fine sieve. Only the sand smaller than the pore size can pass through the fine sieve. Therefore, the filter cloth of the filter press has the same data, that is, the mesh number of the filter cloth. The filter cloth mesh indicates the density of the pores of the filter cloth, and the "mesh" is the number of holes on the filter cloth per square inch (1 square inch = 2.54 square centimeters), such as the filter cloth of 1 mesh.
