Third, the main purpose:

LSKC — 4B grain moisture meter is used for measuring the grain and oil moisture in the grain and oil purchase, grain storage and other departments. It can also be used for the measurement of similar varieties in seed companies and other departments.

Fourth, the use of:

1. Preparation:

a. Turn the accessory box door buckle on the left side of the instrument, open the accessory box, and remove the accessory. Clean the upper and lower electrodes and the receiving holes in the receiving pan, the pulverizer, and the measuring hole with a brush.

b. Check the meter, the pointer should be at the starting line of the tick mark. If it is not at the starting line, use the sampling spoon to slowly adjust the adjustment knob on the meter to make the pointer point to the starting line.

c. Insert the battery into the bin according to the positive and negative marks of the battery compartment at the bottom of the instrument, and cover the battery compartment cover.

d. Install the lever and the handle as shown, and insert the tray into the receiving hole.

2. Boot adjustment:

Turn the power switch to “ON”, the power indicator light is on, the left hand presses the adjustment button, and the right hand presses the up button until the pointer points to the scale full line. If the full line is adjusted, press the key again, and repeat the up and down keys. Until the pointer indicates on the full scale line, then

Press the save button. At this point, release the adjustment button to the starting line with your left hand.

3. Measurement:

a. Sampling and smashing: Take a spoonful of clean sample with a sampling spoon, pour it into the pulverizer (take a spoonful of corn), close the feeding lid, and turn it into the rapeseed in the sump.

b. Read the meter indication value: Insert the tray containing the sample into the measuring hole, press the lever to the positioning point, and the pointer will be deflected by an angle from the measured index value.

c. Check the temperature correction value:

Read the temperature +.- correction value directly on the thermometer

d. Calculate the true moisture value:

The result of adding or subtracting the meter indication value from the temperature correction value is the true moisture value of the sample to be tested. For example: meter indication value 56%5.6%-0.6%=15%

For another example: if the meter indicates 14.3% and the temperature correction is +0.4% , the true moisture value is: 14.3%+0.4%=14.7%

4. End: After the measurement is completed, turn the power switch to “OFF”, the power indicator light goes out, clean the instrument and accessories, and put the accessories back into the instrument accessory box.
