Product egg duck observation method

Duck feeders should learn how to observe ducks during the laying period in order to find problems at any time, solve problems in time, and ensure stable egg laying rates.

One observing egg shape. If the big end of the egg is small, it is due to early food; the small head is owed to food; there is trachoma, rough, soft shell, indicating lack of calcium or VD.

Observe the laying time. Normal egg production time is from 2 o'clock in the evening to 8 o'clock in the night. If egg laying time is delayed every day or even during the day, eggs will be produced sparsely.

Three observe the weight. After a period of time after egg production, the weight is maintained as it is, indicating that the feeding and management are in place. If the weight is increased or decreased, there is a problem with management. It is generally maintained at the time of opening, and a slight increase in late egg production is normal.

Observe the egg weight. The eggs are very small at the time of first birth, only about 40g, and can reach 90% of the average weight of the whole period by 200 days, and can reach the standard egg weight at 250 days of age. If the weight of eggs is increased too fast or too slow, check the reason. Improve.

Observe the egg production rate. The egg production rate in the early stage of laying is continuously rising. Early spring ducks generally reach 90% egg production rate at 200 days of age. If there are fluctuations or declines, it is necessary to find the cause in a timely manner.

Six observe feathers. The feathers are close and tight, indicating that the feed quality is good, otherwise the material is poor and the quality should be improved.

Seven observation of appetite. Regardless of captive breeding and grazing, high-producing ducks should be able to eat and wake up early.

Eight observe the mental state. Healthy ducks are full of energy, lively, and flexible, constantly feeding, and quiet at rest.

Nine observes leisurely water. Ducks with high egg production have long diving time after entering the water, and feathers are smooth and wet when ashore. If you are afraid of the water, do not bathe, or wet hair after the launch, action is weak, to feed animal protein feed and add cod liver oil or identify the pathogen.

Ten observed feces. The healthy duck dung is gray and black, covered with urate, and sick ducks are given green, white, and yellow dung.
